THE SCHOOL'S MISSION
Our mission is to help families put God back at the center of education so their children can see the world through God’s eyes and live according to that knowledge for generations to come.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL:
The Legacy Learning Academy is a microschool and home school support center that serves families from K-8th grade. The in-person aspect of the Academy program runs 4 days/week and lasts 3-6 hours/day, depending on topics that need to be covered.
Core education classes (Reading, Writing, Arithmetic) are taught 4 days/week from 9am – 12pm. School dismisses at 12pm on Mondays and Wednesdays so students can return home to work on elective projects and other special activities as directed by their parents.
School continues until 2pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays so students can complete a rotational study covering Geography, History, Science, Music, and Art. Students may stay until 3:00 pm on Tue/Thu for an optional PE Game with classmates if preferred.
Students continue their learning program at home through self-directed and/or parent-guided study on Fridays.
We leverage the My Fathers World curriculum and microschool framework, and we strive to create an environment that is God Centered, Parent Empowered, and Learner Driven. Additional written information about our core values, educational philosophy, curriculum, and schedule are available upon request. Public-facing website to be launched in Q2 2025.
Legacy Learning Academy does not currently have a school website.
